Parent Mailing List

Single households

  1. Open the father's contact page.
  2. Click on the Edit Contact icon to edit his information.
  3. Under the Mail Label field input the father's and mother's name. (e.g.: John & Jane Doe, Mr. & Mrs. Doe)
  4. On the right hand side, click on the Parent Mailing Tag.
  5. Click on the Save button.

Multiple households

  1. Open the father's contact page.
  2. Click on the Edit Contact icon to edit his information.
  3. Under the Mail Label field input the father's name (e.g.: John Doe).
  4. On the right hand side, click on the Parent Mailing Tag.
  5. Click on the Save button.
  6. Now edit the mother's contact page.
  7. Click on the Edit Contact icon to edit her information.
  8. Under the Mail Label field input the mother's name (e.g.: Jane Doe).
  9. On the right hand side, click on the Parent Mailing Tag.
  10. Click on the Save button.

  Doing this at the time of admission can save time instead of trying to edit a list of contacts for a mailing.


Setting up a Parent Mailing Report

  1. Click on the Reports button to get to the Report Building Screen
  2. From the Fields to Display area select
    • Parent Mailing
    • Address 1
    • City 1
    • State 1
    • Zip 1
  3. From the Filter Criteria area select
    • Individual
    • In the first text area select Tag
    • Select the Parent Mailing Tag
  4. Click View Report
