Using the Application Manager


The Admissions Module is accessed by clicking on the Admissions button in the lower left hand corner of the Dashboard. By default the list of the applications that appears are those that have been completed and submitted. To look at archived or incomplete applications, check the appropriate boxes in the upper right hand corner.

Importing Applications

Once a potential client has filled out and submitted an application, go into the application module and click on View next to the application for review. Once the application is open, it can be reviewed before importing to make sure all information is filled out. When review of the application is done, import the contact into BestNotes by clicking the Add to BestNotes button in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Next, the system will try to find existing contacts in BestNotes that match the name of the individual applying.

On the next screen, two options are available:
    1. Create a new contact.
    2. Overwrite a contact's current information.

The same options will appear for each of the related contacts as well. After importing the contact, the user will be brought back to view the application with a new set of options. The options will be for the user to print, delete, or archive and lock the application.

  If you do not archive and lock the application, the applicant can still make changes to the application.
